First Snow on Hume Lake

I went to breakfast at 6:45 this morning, and the ground was quickly becoming covered in hail. I think it’s fair to say this is Hume Lake’s first snow of the season.

    It’s only snow if it stays, when you’re in the mountains. Now, if you were in Portland, we could call it snow.

    This came up in my google alert today!

    I walked in the Admin office this morning and said, “it’s snowing!”

    Lucas looked at me and said, “that’s hail.”

    It seemed like snow to be because the ground was collecting a white dust.

    I’m glad you thought it was snow too!!
