Here’s a quote from Hillary:
“It is morally wrong and it’s economically dumb for us not to cover everybody…” source
Can anyone explain to me how the Federal Government of the United States of America is morally obligated to provide health care to everybody?

and let’s not forget, she’s not really talking about health care, but health insurance. No health insurance does not mean no health care.

I’m thinking that Hillary (and other politicians talking about universal health care) is coming from the Planetary Consciousness, which is rooted in the recognition of power and the strategic use of power. Planetary Consciousness gives the sense that the entity which (or person who) has power is the one who can do something about circumstances. Since the Planetary Consciousness is built on top of the National Consciousness (which is about morality and the duality of right and wrong), one might conclude that it’s a moral obligation for the entity in which power is invested to take action on behalf of the less powerful or powerless.
Add to those musings a recognition of the motivation provided through the currently dominant Galactic Consciousness (which is about moving beyond right and wrong to choices that take into consideration the question “What makes the most sense here”). Having those three energies of consciousness–National, Planetary, Galactic–active all at once could lead good-hearted people to conclude that the government should provide health care to everybody.
That doesn’t mean that government sponsored health care for everyone is the way things should go; but acknowledging the energetic layering can give insight as to why people who want to serve as President of the United States would conclude that offering universal health care is the government’s responsibility.

That’s all fine and good, except that it’s not the federal government who is supposed to have the power (in this and in many other regards). It’s the state governments and the people. If this exchange of power continues, we’ll end up in a socialist or dictatorial society. Any why are the people giving up their power? Because of laziness, the inability to accept fault, and the inability to recognize that sometimes bad things happen to good people.

My brain hurts from reading your mom’s comment, I need to see a brain doctor but I don’t have health care. Help me Hillary!!!!!!
Seriously though, we as a people are getting lazier and we shift the blame and responsibility to everyone else except ourselves. See (abused) welfare. We’re never at fault and therefore someone else is to blame. If I smoke way too much now my lungs are giving out, its the govt’s responsibility to see that I get adequate care on their or Marlboro’s dime.
